There is no single place to apply for funding for productions within The Cultural Schoolbag.

You can apply for funding from some of the national coordinating organisations, and they also offer courses and advice. Do contact them: Litteraturbruket, the Norwegian Touring Network for the Performing Arts and the National Museum

County councils control a large proportion of the available funding, and in some cases you can apply to them for funding. See the application deadlines below. If you are wondering whether your idea or production is suitable for The Cultural Schoolbag, you can contact the counties or municipalities where you would like to tour. You can find a list of the county councils and municipalities (so-called 100% municipalities) here.

On account of the amount of planning needed, many county councils now operate with a deadline for artists and performers to present their proposals. Below we have set out the deadlines for the various county councils and municipalities. You must apply individually to each county council or 100% municipality.
